O Lord, I am not worthy that Thou should come under the roof of my house, for I am sinful, but say Thou first a word and my soul shall be healed. Say unto my soul: "Your sins are forgiven." I am barren and wanting all righteousness, and have but Thy compassion, mercy and Love-of-Man. And Thou hast condescended from the heaven of Thine ineffable glory to our afflictions and accepted to be born in a manger.

Reject not, O my blessed Saviour to come into my lowly and afflicted soul that awaits Thy radiant presence. But accept to come into my soul to cleanse it.

O Thou who disdained not to enter into the leper's house and to heal him, forbid me not to approach Thy pure Body and Thy Holy Blood, O Thou who prevented not the woman, who was a sinner, from kissing they feet.

Let my communion be for partaking with Thee and for effacing all defilement, the mortification of my lusts, the doing of Thy Life-giving commandments, the healing of my soul and body from all sins, the acceptance of Thy gifts, the endwelling of Thy grace, the descent of Thy spirit for union with and abiding in Thee, that I may live for the glory of Thy Holy Name. Amen.

Jesus Christ, Lord of Life & God All Mighty, thou art the true live bread who descended from heaven and thou blessed with life those who receive your Holy flesh and blood.

Bestow upon thy servant heavenly blessings to enable me to receive your holy flesh and blood with due respect and humbleness.

Alert my heart with grace and grant me your salvation so that I may taste the sweetness of your heavenly grace which is wholly hidden in this sacred secret.

Grant me faith free from doubt or questioning so as to commence to you with unfailing faith and believing that this is your holy flesh and blood Emmanuel our Lord. Prepare me to receive Holy communion without falling into judgment but to unite me spiritually with you for forgiveness of my sins and for my accepted presence at your fearful kingdom. Glory to You, the Father and the Holy Spirit now and until eternity, Amen.

My heart has been filled with joy and my tongue with rejoicing. Let my spirit glorify the Lord, and my soul rejoice in God my Savior. I have drawn nigh to Thee, O Lord, to clothe me with a radiant garment and make me worthy to enter into Thy wedding.

Let my union with Thee today be forever, for through it I increase and grow firm in virtue, wax strong in faith, and strengthen my hope. Let it become a sign of salvation, a raiment of grace, a garment of the new birth, a purity and righteousness of body and soul, a cleansing of love, an eternal happiness and joy, a good answer before Thy dreadful tribune.

I commit myself to Thy compassion to make me one with Thee and under Thy will. I call forth my mind and my senses to Thee. My will do Thou bless to obey Thy will.

Enliven my heart and awaken my conscience. Disperse the fantasies of the adversaries. Still the tempest. Walk with me and calm my terror. Quench my thirst, kindle the flame of Thy love in my heart. Abide with me for the day is far spent, and accompany me until daybreak. For Thou are my goal and my happiness. Thou alone, O Lord, forever. Amen.

O God, how great is the gift that you saved for your fearers. How sweet is your grace to those who love you.

I thank you my Lord for looking after me, You granted me this holy food that doesn’t perish, by which you opened to us the way to eternal life.

Kindle the flames of your love in me, save the blessing of Your grace in my heart not for judgment or to fall into judging but to receive glory, purity of soul and body and to live with you, survive for you and continue with your grace. So guide me to your holiness and fill me with your grace and consecrate me with your soul. Glory to You, the Father and the Holy Spirit now and until eternity, Amen.

Holy Father, who wishes the repentance of sinners, promising to accept them back; look, O Lord, at this moment, at a sinful soul who had erred and lost her way in the valleys of transgressions for many years, and wherein she was embittered and wretched for being removed from the fountain of her salvation.

Yet now she comes forth to Thee, asking to be cleansed from all defilement and filth that sullied her. Accept and reject her not, for whether Thou look at her with compassion and deal with her mercifully she will be cleansed and saved; or whether Thou neglect her she will perish.

Grant me grace to come near Thee with faith unshaken and full of hope to confess my trespasses and despise them. Let Thy spirit reprove me for my sins. Enlighten my heart that I may see how greatly did I err, misbehave, and forsake the way. Grant me determination to forsake evil that I may be established in Thy commandments and live to glorify Thy Holy Name. Amen.

I thank Thy goodness, O Lover-of-man, because Thou did not wish my perdition, but have awakened me from my neglect and guided me to Thy path.

Thou have brought me back from the valley of destruction to the safety of Thy bosom, so, fill me with hope and faith. I have come to thee a sick person to the Physician, hungry and needy to the Food of plenty, thirsty to the Spring of living Water, poor to the Source of riches, sinner to the Saviour, dead to the Fountain of Life; for Thou art my salvation, my healer, my life, my strength, my comfort, my happiness, and my rest is in Thee.

So help me, protect me, and teach me to put my will in Thy hands, that I may walk according to Thy will. Help my weakness that I May be firm and continue to be faithful to Thee till the end. Amen.

Before Studying

Most blessed Lord, send the grace of Your Holy Spirit on me to strengthen me that I may learn well the subject I am about to study and by it become a better person for Your glory, the comfort of my family and the benefit of Your Church and our Nation. Amen

Christ, the true light, who enlightens and sanctifies every person coming into the world, let the light of Your countenance shine upon me (us) that I (we) may see Your unapproachable light; and guide my (our) steps in the way of Your commandments, through the intercessions of Your all-holy Mother and of all the Saints. Amen.

After Studying

I thank You, Lord our God, that again on this occasion You have opened my eyes to the light of Your wisdom.

You have gladdened my heart with the knowledge of truth. I entreat You, Lord, help me always to do Your will.

Bless my soul and body, my words and deeds.

Enable me to grow in grace, virtue and good habits, that Your name may be glorified, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen.

قد امتلأ قلبي فرحًا، ولساني تهليلًا.. فلتعظم نفسي الرب، وتبتهج روحي بالله مخلصي. لقد أقبلت إليك يا رب لتلبسني حُلة نقية للدخول إلى عُرسك
فليكن إتحادي بك اليوم دائمًا، لأني به أزداد في الفضيلة ثباتًا ونموًا، ويشتد إيماني، ويتقوّى رجائي

فليصر تناولي علامة للخلاص ولِباسًا للنعمة، وحُلّة للميلاد الجديد، وطهارة وقداسة للنفس والجسد، ونقاوة للحب، وفرحًا وسرورًا أبديًا، ولجواب حسن القبول أمام منبرك الرهيب وأسلم ذاتي بين حنوَّك.. فاجعلني واحدًا معك، وسيِّرني تحت إرادتك.. استدع إليك عقلي وحواسي وإرادتي لتباركها وتكون طوع مشيئتك

أحيي قلبي، وأيقظ ضميري.. شتِّت جميع خيالات العدو، وقُل للزوابِع أن تسكت.. سر معي وهدِّئ روعي، ارو عطشي، واضرم لهيب محبتك في قلبي.. تلاف بحنو ورفق كل ما ينقصني.. امكث معي لأن النهار قد مال. ورافقني إلى أن ينسم النهار.. فإنك وحدك غايتي وسعادتي. أنت وحدك يا رب إلى الأبد. آمين

ما أعظم جودك يا الله الذي ادخرته لخائفيك.. ما أعذب نعمتك للذين يحبونك.. أشكرك يا إلهي المعتني بي، الذي منحتني هذا الطعام المقدس السري غير البائد، وفتحت لنا به سبيل الدخول إلى الحياة الأبدية

أضرم فيّ نار محبتك، واحفظ موهبة نعمتك فيّ، لا للدينونة، ولا للوقوع في الدينونة، لكن لنوال المجد، وطهارة النفس والجسد، لكي أحيا بك، وأعيش لأجلك، وأكمل ببرك

فاهدني إلى بِرَّك، واملأني من نعمتك، وقدِّسني بروحك. لك المجد مع أبيك الصالح وروحك القدوس، من الآن والى الأبد، أمين

أيها الآب القدوس، الذي يحب رجوع الخطاة. وقد وعدت أنك مستعد لقبولهم. أنظر يا رب الآن إلى نفس خاطئة قد ضلَّت وتاهت في أودية العصيان زمانًا طويلًا. فيه تمررت وشعرت بشقاوتها، لبعدها عن ينبوع خلاصها

الآن تتقدم إليك، تطلب منك تطهيرها من الأدناس والأقذار التي توحلت فيها. اقبلها ولا ترفضها فإنك إن نظرت إليها بحنوك وعاملتها برحمتك تنقَّت وخلصت، وإن أهملتها بادَت وهلكت

امنحني يا رب نعمة بها أتقوى على الدنو منك بإيمان وطيد ورجاء تام، لأعترف بذنوبي وأكره العودة إليها. وليبكتني روحك على آثامي. أنر قلبي لأرى كم أخطأت وأسأت وتركت وأهملت. وامنحني عزمًا على عدم الرجوع إلى الإثم لأثبت في حفظ وصاياك وأحيا لمجد أسمك القدوس. آمين

أشكر صلاحك أيها الآب محب البشر لأنك لم تشأ هلاكي. بل أيقظتني من غفلتي وهديتني إلى طريقك. ورددتني من وادي الهلاك إلى حمى حصنك الأمين. فاملأني بالرجاء والإيمان.. أقبلت إليك يا رب كالمريض إلى الطبيب الشافي، وكالمفتقر الجائع إلى الغذاء المشبع، وكالعطشان إلى ينابيع المياه الحية، وكالفقير إلى مصدر الغنى، وكالخاطئ إلى المخلص، وكالمائِت إلى ينبوع الحياة.. لأنك خلاصي، وطبيبي، وقوتي، وتعزيتي، وسعادتي، وفيك راحتي.. فأعنّي واحفظني وسيِّج حولي، وعلِّمني أن أضع بين يديك كل إرادتي. لأسير حسب ما تشاء.. أعن ضعفي كي أثبت وأدوم أمينًا لك إلى النهاية

صلاة قبل المذاكرة

أيها الإله المبارك.. أرسل نعمة روحك القدوس علي لتقويني، حتى أتفهم جيدًا المادة التي أنا مقدم على دراستها، حتى أصبح شخصًا أفضل لمجد اسمك القدوس، ولراحة عائلتي، ولمنفعة كنيستك، وشعبك.. آمين. إلهي يسوع، النور الحقيقي، الذي ينير ويطهِّر كل إنسان آت إلى العالم، أنِر عليَّ (علينا) بنور معرفتك، حتى أرى (نرى) نورك الغير مقترب منه؛ وقُد خطواتي في طريق وصاياك، من خلال شفاعة سيدتنا كلنا والدة الإله القديسة مريم وجميع قديسيك.. آمين.

أشكرك أيها الرب إلهنا أنك فتحت أعيني مرة أخرى لنور حكمتك.. لقد أبهجت قلبي بمعرفة الحق.. أتضرع إليك يا ربي أن تساعدني دائمًا في أن أعمل إرادتك.. بارك روحي وجسدي.. كلماتي وأفعالي.. ساعدني أن أنمو في النعمة، والفضيلة، والعادات المباركة.. لكي يتمجد اسمك، أيها الآب والابن والروح القدس، الآن وكل أوان. آمين.
